this is a simple, unexciting wall that i started making some time after i finished reading the death note manga. this is the recreation of the very last image in the final chapter:
the candle was vectored and then painted, although i didn't go crazy with the painting part because i wanted it to be recognizable as a derivative of the original. the rock was made from scratch. the text is...whatever. the light was made up. despite the texture (and perhaps the dimness, depending on your monitor), you should be able to see those fine beams. or else you aren't seeing the whole wall.
i had given up on this. but Spirit wouldn't let me. he's been persistently bugging me about this ever since...how long ago? i lost track. and so i worked, got nat to verify that this is okay for the gallery, and did some invisible polishing. here you go Spirit! hope i didn't disappoint you. :]
from what i remember, texture credits go to: imageafter and aethereality.
i doubt many people will notice this wall... x_x
