This is the first wallpaper I've made in a long time, but when I first saw this scan of Kamui, I went... KYA! I haven't been up-to-date with the anime or the manga; I'm still at the Rekord Country/Kingdom of Japan (Nihon) so I'm really really behind. I'll catch up later during the summer when everyone's out of the house except for me. So the scan... I went KYA! then I went "must have wallpaper" but no one had a wallpaper of it... So I decided to take it upon myself, the person who hadn't made a wallpaper in over a year, to make a wallpaper.

I got the fire tutorial from nat's website, and I got the skyline of the city from q-taro.com, a random site I found as I was searching Google for an image of the Tokyo skyline. Apparently, this is the Odaiba skyline, but that's not relevant, now is it? The vector of Kamui took about two three days since I wanted to get it as close to the original as possible with it being the original since the original was covered with text, but the wallpaper took me forever (a week) to think of since I really like the background for the scan but I can't for the life of me figure out exactly how to clean the scan up and fix up all the areas covered with text. I tried to make a background similar to the original with a destroyed city... didn't work out... so move out farther from the city... and voila! Skyline of Tokyo (Odaiba) with flames and a reflection of it on the river. The sky and river are blends of the stock photos I got from sxc.hu.
Sorry if the title isn't creative since the name of the OVA is Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations, but hey, it's the OVA!
