This is the first time I've ever made a wallpaper of this style, but I'm exetremely satisfied with the out come. The character is Byakuya Kuchiki from BLEACH who's power is making a thousand blades the look like Cherry blossoms. That explains the title and all the pink.

I was focused on getting a night theme with the moon and somehow water... the water turned out great with the reflection, especially on the moon side. I added little details like the blossoms in the water have ripples if you loom closely.

This took a total of 12-13 hours in photoshop...the longest I've ever spent on one wallpaper. the background has no stocks just alooOOOt of brushes and I think it has somewhere around 50 layers...thank godness I'm finally done... =()

Looks pretty awesome, except I dont understand why the stars layer reaches in front of the mountains and water. Also the moon on that fact, but the moon on the water is pretty cool. I would suggest either putting the moon behind the mountain or taking away the mountian range.

That's pretty impressive, I'm really impressed with the water, its ripples and the reflection of Byakuya and the Moon on its surface, its really awesome.

Nice but caught one mistake like the moon in front of mountain, it should be behind the mountain.. but other than that, good job

This is cool. I love Byakuya so I like this paper even more but would look aswsome if I didnt. Its amazing you did this with no stocks.

no stocks? i envy you Everything looks real and really clean I like the way the moon, the water and the sky were made Even the reflection looks so real
but i must agree with the other people who commented that the moon should be behind the mountain other than that...

Awesome job on the water! The reflections are absolutely beautiful.

I think it would look better if you replaced the pink lines behind him with a cloud of cherry blossoms. The lines don't seem to fit the general softness of the wall. Still, great job on this!
