Ok, this is my 4th attempt at making a wallpaper good enough to be accepted by this site! I tried really hard on this one for two days. I have yet to see the anime so i just made my own scene from what the scan made me feel.

DESCRIPTION:
The characters are holding eachother desperately as if it was the last thing they both shall do. So, my interpretation of that is they are clinging on to what they hold dear in thier final moments before the earth's destruction...by meteor! You can see the meteor ripping through the clouds in the top left corner of my wall. The sky turns a dark and ugly shade of red as well as seems to suck the light away from everything else to exploit its brilliance! and just so you all NOTICE it, look at his ciggarette...its burning bright red like the same red as the meteor! COINCIDENCE?!?! hehe that was just an extra piece of joy i thot i would throw in there. Thats about it!

TOOLS:
I used photoshop CS3 and a few stock images and brushes from deviantart.com.
It took about 6 hours all together,
