As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Omg! I mix of vector and painting! This is actually my bday present for my dear friend Kiru! Yay! Happy Bday! :D woo! So I walled Nodame Cantible probably should have walled Hei like bluegreen did >xDDD lOL!

So I basically, vectored the lineart and painted the colors. I wanted to keep it nice and simple and sketchy. The bg was a vector, but then I went over it with a simple hard round brush adding in the sketchy look and other details. Ah, the funnest part was adding in the bubbles in the bathtub and making the rubber ducky :P oo.. and of course I had to use my extreme texture abusing skills to finish it off. Me and my texture abusing self need help lol!

Now to play the "did you read my description" game. D: If you read this description, write somewher in your comment, "HAPPY BDAY KIRU!" except for kiru, you don't have to write that. XD You can write something like, I LOVE HEI! Or.. SAKU IZ AWESOME! lol!

Also, *sneaks in some advertising* join Invalid Litter Dep.! XDD and Scenic! lol!

But enough of this, let's talk about your wallie:
Wow, simply wow. I love the calm and easy going feeling by looking at it.
The scene you created is really nice. I wish I could leave my work and jump in the bathtube. Ahh, wouldn't it be nice to chill a bit in the warm water P(T_T) emoticon

But unfortunatly I have to work for more than 2 hrs. Wanna go home, weather is so nice.

Great work on the vectored parts of the wallpaper. The vectors are very crisp and clean.
The painted parts of the wallpaper are also really good done. I love the combination of both techniques. Love the bubbles ^__^

Last but not least I have to say that the title of the wall is perfect matching the hole thingie. You did a really good choice. <3 emoticon

Well, well, seems to me that I have to add it to my favs. It's such a wonderful piece of art.
