Well, this is my second submission- my first failed quite horribly, lol. I really enjoyed the Claymore series so I wanted to create a wallpaper for it. After finding a decent scan I set to work- I tried to create a dark/mist like effect, with a Special emphasis on the eyes. The eyes in Claymore are really well drawn, and I wanted to create a similar luminescent effect. After hours of tweaking over several days (with a few weeks in between the days I'd have time to work on it)- going back and forth between Picasa2 and The GIMP- I finally arrived at a picture that just "looked right". Most of the time spent was on the microscopic details of the picture itself, little things that needed to be tweaked. If you take a close look at the scan and the wallpaper I made from it, maybe you will see why.
Although I dread negative comments, please say your worst (one of the best pieces of advice for my last piece was that it looked pretty bad)...The more comments the better (everything is truly appreciated ^^ )

Just a side note: the title is a reference to her eyes...
