After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

Oh yes. A sailor Moon wallpaper.
I've wanted to make a Sailor Moon wall pretty much since I started to make wallpapers about 4 years ago. I never felt I was good enough to make one.
Hell, I STILL don't, but there is a contest going on over at the Make-up Group that I just can't pass up.

The criteria for round 1 is to make a wallpaper for one of the sailor senshi on the team you chose. I chose the inner senshi and since sailor moon was not included, I went for Sailor Venus.
I love the transformations, so thats what I did. I vectored sailor V from a screenshot seen here

I wanted to keep the feel of the transformation while making it my own. I think i did that. God, It's far from perfect, but I'm overall pretty happy with it.
Background is a combination of cheap maya tricks and stock photos as well as brush work.

Other dimensions will be available at pixelated graffiti eventually.

Quite possibly the best Sailor Venus wall I've ever seen. The effects are great and the color scheme is handled very well. Excellent work.

Anyways, the wall, right. This wall is giving me flashbacks back to when I was 14 watching Sailor Moon, The Real Adventures of Johnny Quest, and when the Frieza saga of DBZ was new. With that said, you definitely captured everything I remember from Venus's transformation, especially the star ribbons. Otherwise, the vector is nice and the lighting is right. Thanks for another great wall that I can add to my collection.

Sailor moon was my first fav anime I love it my favs were sailor pluto and mars X3 This wall is amazing just like all of your work, it has depth it has soul, and it's so bright and vibrent it really jumps out of the screen, I wouldn't change a thing you did a wonderful job with this, it may even be the best sailor moon wall I've ever seen, if put in to one word it would have to be- Beautiful <3 emoticon

Beautiful...just dont like the big stars..the small stars are fine but not the big stars but it is acceptable..i still like it. i really like the color combinations...the background helps a lot to make this wallpaper beautiful..overall=beautiful..love her hair

When I fullviewed the screenshot my eyes bleeded because of the bad quality. When I fullviewed the wallpaper, my eyes bleeded again, because of the excellent quality!

Well you know...SailorMoon was my first anime...hm, not exactly XD. It was the first anime i saw and knew that it was "anime".
You reminded me of my childhood. I woke up at 7 o'clock just to watch this every weekend.

Ok, moving on now. i got to say that the screenshot was O_o awful and this vector is so much better...clean and neat, so; well done on that. Plus i like these effects, i got to admit it you know...the Sailormoon show was all about these girlie effects, so i like them, they fit the whole theme.

The only thing that bothers me...is the text (don't hit me on the head, i was never good with the text thingie, so don't mind me)

+fav cause it's girlie and has SailorVenus on it^^ (killing combination)

Gorgeous how you vector Sailor Venus from this little and really crappy pic.

The vector work is really awesome done. Flawless and very clean.
I love that you choose her transformation for the wallpaper. There are a lot Sailor Moon walls but yours is really outstanding. Not only that the quality is just amazing you made a wall from a scene which wasn't walled before. The fact that you changed the transformation a bit to put in your own note is fantastic. I love the hole background which works perfect with the scene itself. The effects are amazing and perfect for the hole scenery.

Overall it's a wonderful wallpaper and one of the few of Sailor Moon which I really like.
The only thing I have to complain about: Why not Sailor Mars?? *just kidding*

I'm not a big fan of Sailor Venus but your wallpaper might change this.

i love the way you redrew the whole image that is of a very low quality
sailor venus transformation is probably the best transformation of the "inner senshis" and you just created this nice feeling i have when i watch her transforming
definitely faving this one ;)

The darker in hair shadows, is the one most highest (if you cant from top counterclockwise the first) a bit jagged outlined, reminded me of kenpachi his sword.. a bit like not smoothend.

This is probably the best sailor moon wallpaper i have seen till now...
u know there aren't many good sailor moon wallpapers.. and this is also the 1st anime serie i have seen... problably that's why i never get into making a wall of it and always wait till my skills get better.. as you said above xD .. we let time pass and never really get into it, so i guess this competition was a good idea =)

i love the way you made the starts transformation things all around.. the quality is way better than the screenshot.. though to be honest.. i still think this could be improved.. for me it looks a bit too blurry in some places.. and lack a bit of details...
anyway... this is still an awesome wall, and me loves venus (of all the inner scouts, she is the best imo x3)

Oohhh I love it. I agree about the tad blurry parts, but overall, I love what you've done. I'm especially impressed with how her eyes came out, just from looking at the screenshot you used. I also like the little additions you did like the heart shape in the bg. Fav for sure!

Good job, old school abstract wallpapers like this one are a rare feat these days. There's only some jaggy lines on her hair (on the dark shaded parts) which you might want to try to fix.

But my favorite Sailor Girl was Salior Jupiter. D:

Been a while since I've enjoyed the cuteness of Sailor Moon and probably been even longer since I've seen a wall that actually did the series a bit of justice. I love the effects and blending you did with thisandmy only complaint is maybe the stars that are used: They kinda seem like they need a little extra something to makethem pop and be magical.

I like yellow in walls and art and design (etc.) probably because it's so happy and noble but I can't wear yellow clothe cos it looks terrible on me.
My only complain would be her fringe. The shape of the basic outline on the top of her head and the lenght of the fringe just doesn't look the same as on the original see here
Well it's tiny :3 but for me it makes her head look weird :x and yeah that original is crappy. Kudos to you for choosing that image D:
I think the transformation (well I mean everything behind her) looks much better than in the original transformation I'm glad you went for your own idea.

OMG LOL I can't even make out the face in the screencap.

The goldenness is really awesome, since it's so Sailor Venus. And I really like how her blue eye draws a lot of focus even though it's fairly busy all around her. I think the stars should be more... light-emitting... so that it would make them look like they've got the energy to transform her. Oh, and I love the BG!

I should make a Sailor Mercury transformation wallpaper to match you lol. Even though mine would suck...
