Greetings all and hello once again! This is my second take on a Mushi-shi wall I've been working on. At the great suggestion of you lovely folks at AP, I have tried making the image a bit more landscapish. I created a bit of a mountain range, trying to mimic the Japanese wall scroll feel, and put in a bit of sky. I gave the background a very subtle treatment for a more wintery morning feel for the image, and kept with a cool color treatment for both the background and Ginko. I also added in a shadow for him. I could not put in a shadow for the tree because of the light source. I tried foot prints as well, but they didn't seem to work out for the image. They looked like they didn't fit into the image.
With my first version of this, all i had was Ginko and the tree. I didn't want to disturb the blank serenity that the image had. With this second version, I tried to preserve that serenity, but now its more of a muted serenity I'd say.
Enough of the emo-artsy talk though. Please let me know what you think and any suggestions. They are always welcome!
-Cheers
