As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Do have a look at this beautiful wallpaper!

@`akiranyo: for VD #4 it's monochrome scans right ? I wonder if it would be good idea to accept vector of monochrome scan not submited on AP. What do you think ?

My friend convinced me to do a wallpaper for him after I hadn't made one in over a year.. This is the result. The title was his.

He said he wanted 'dramatic', so I experimented with combining bright colors and textures with cartoony vectors to match the scan, then added some enhancements to Pleinair's gun. I like how the sun & hills turned out.

First look at it I thought it looked unproffesional. Second look at it and its my wall. Honestly i think this is a really cool style and can't get bored of Disgea walls with bunnies XD

Wow real cute and kind of funny actually. the background is effective but seems a bit simple. overall though it's very good.

I guess the different style of the background and the main characters dont really look all that good. its the painting style that looks different.
anyways i still like it and i think it is a good piece of work,
keep it up :)

I like it, especially the way the colors are, they just kind of pop out at you. Good boldness! 8)E emoticon Besides, it's the most under-utilized character in all of Disgaea, Pleniair! Nice work!
