Haha, I expected to get some bad reviews because of the "commotion", but the COMMOTION wasn't because of the wallpaper, the "commotion was about the rejection based on them overlooking my signature and replying to me saying that "someone else made this wallpaper." Feel free to drop by the forum and read the whole thing, as even the PMs were posted to the whole situation. If the wallpaper had been rejected based on style and they said that it would have been fine, but the mistakes made by the staff that lead up to it was the "whole commotion." ;)

Aside from that, the the ghosting is usually a personal preference thing, and as the title suggests, it's a SIMPLE wallpaper. As for the comment about blurriness, she's smoother over to give a soft paint artistic feel. Most people expect all anime to be sharp vector, but this just has a smooth feel to it, it all really depends on what you want. The reason I went with the solid blue background was because I feel in recent years that Photoshop filters have been overused. I think one random filter as the background is tacky, and if I had wished for a better background I would have spent more hours on that than just one filter to "spice things up."


As for the font, yes there are plenty of "magician" fonts out there, but they really wouldn't match the "feel" of the wallpaper. Fonts really come down to personal preference and style.

Again, I'm not quite sure what you were expecting from a wallpaper with "simple" in the title...this was made during my break times at work, and was just something "fun" to work on. Perhaps one weekend I'll sit down and actually spend around 8 hours making a nicer wallpaper, although it won't be yugioh, as the show style, and limited artwork hurt a lot when it comes to creativity and resolution size.
