As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Yeah, I missed grunge a lot. And though I already have a Byakuya wall, he's just so amazing I needed at least one another.
I found this great scan and vectored it, then added some Sumi-E brushes, a lot of textures and scratches, some fitting patterns and so on. I was trying to catch the look of an old Japanese painting, so I hope I did it well.
This time I think I made it quite well for I really like this wall very much.
Hope you do so as well:))

Firstly good job for a nice and clean vector of byakuya.
Next, i like the background you place him in~ this fits really well with his family background in the bleach story(strict japanese family x_x) and also give him a chilly aura that he always gives
Lastly, your sig doesn't fit very well in the pic (XD) emoticon

Byakuya is like the coldest character ever but he's interesting tho, sooo thumbs up for the right choice of brush and background.
love the texture and everything.they all fit Byakuya a lot. very nice job!

Oh, Selennna... another one? You know I adore Byakuya-sama so of course it's an instant favorite.

Nice use of the colors since it gives the wallpaper a softer feel. The mountains are so... dreamy... lol.

Well I have to admit I'm slightly jealous I wish I could have such a fantastic wallpaper dedicated to me P(T_T) emoticon

I love Byakuya he's quite the charmer, the old Japanese painting style is truly spectacular, it has soft wisps of fog and the mountains gracing the background fading into the night, his eyes cold as ice and piercing the night like purple fire engulfing enemies like dust in the wind, birds cawing like battle cries as the final sword is drawn. Truly a master piece fitting of Byakuya your friend is truly lucky. A+ and a fav

Great work... I'm not a Bleach fan but I absolutely love the old japanese painting styles and textures... and I absolutely love your background to the image. Haha, as a matter of fact, I'd be just happy with the background >:D emoticon

But the main image you used fits nicely with the actual wall too lol. Anyway, great style, blending, colors... it looks great!
