After months of work, chanelqueen17 has created a gorgeous scene of Alice and Oz from Pandora Hearts, using scans that didn't even feature both characters together. Even after spending so much time on matching the details of the characters to their new looks, chanelqueen17 didn't stop there and went all out on the background too! This wallpaper definitely needs to be seen!

original scan

This time i vectored scan with text all over it...check the scan out and you'll see.
dunno the anime, but i fell in love with scan, its so cheerful and happy, and i had an urge to vector it.
anyway here are the detailes.

About vector:

Vector was interesting, i did it in 9 hours, 4h outline, 5 coloring.
pink haired girl's hair was really hard,and i did some small changes in coloring, for example their skin, which was ugly colored, i changed it to be more normal. i also added light textures to keep it from being empty.also added more shading on their swimming suits, on lover part of it.

About background:

Done in one hour
sky:
i painted myself clouds, and if you ask why is it little blury, here are the reasons
1.if you see characters in first plan you see blury background, if you get what i mean
2. clouds arent always sharp shaped.
sea:
i painted the sea all over again and it killed me. dont want to say tehnique i used to make it. im mean
i also added light reflections of clouds in the water.
splashes:
vectored it from scan but it differs than the one in the scan.

Didn't saw that anime but always liked that blue-haired girl when I saw her on scans.
Well, I think that with this wall, your vectoring reached more advanced level, I can't really see any mistakes ^^

But you could have put more afford in bg... I meen, it looks good seeing as it took an hour, but you didn't have to rush. I already saw as some people had trouble with making nice walls because of rushing to finish it. You don't really have that problem as your walls already are on high level, but if you would put more effort in parts like bg, it could get even better ^^

On original scan clouds are "touching" water which somehow creates better feeling... can't really explain it but it looks better that way. Also, you could have made some parts of water more highlighted because it looks a bit plain.

But don't worry, it's still a good improvement! ^^

Riding on a shark? That's something you don't see everyday.. :o I think you did a great job on the vectoring. It's perfect. I think the background looks good too. This is just a suggestion, but what about a foamy trail or rippling water trail behind the shark that fades off in perspective. I think it would give it much move movement because I'm sure that shark is swimming pretty fast, he doesn't look so happy, even though he should be. ^^ The splash you vectored does look good though. Overall, I really like it. It's a great summer wallpaper with a nice happy mood to it. (XD) emoticon

It is nice to see beautiful girls in swimsuit...especially in a hot summer.
I believe that it is not easy to remove the words from the original scan.

Wow! You vectored that? I wish I really had the patience for that kind of thing.

Anyway, onto the wall. I really like this anime/manga (to-Love-ru) it is very funny. I think the shark is one of Lala's inventions (she's the pink haired girl). I'm glad you didn't just do a flat vector. Adding in lighting and such really helps make it pop to me and your job there was great.

You did a very nice job on the clouds. I didn't even notice them at first which is a good sign. They looked very natural.

I think that the water in the background could have used a bit more work though. The smudging and colors look a little dull compared to the rest of the wall.

Love it overall. Great work.

I must make note to watch this series one of these days. A scenario like this don't come often. So it's refreshing to see one of those out-of-the-norm depiction of characters doing something outrageous. This will go nicely with some of the other summer-fun walls I got laying around...

Another superb vector~ I don't know how you do it; you have such great patience. It's crazy that someone vectored this same scan just a few days later, too. I almost thought you were resubmitting it. I like the light and softness you give to the vector...with the blurring. It's really pretty. I just wish you added some variation instead of just vectoring the scan everything for everything. That's my only problem. You're very talented, so I'd love to see more creativity. :3 Still, good job!
