It's been ages! talk about an inactive summer. actually, i wasn't going to get out of lurker mode until a lot later, but today calls for a submission (and advertisement, although my walls aren't a good bet to advertise with).

now about the wall... it's kinda awkward that i have to bring out this one. being still at the bottom of a three-month creativity slump, there was no hope of whipping up a new wall for the occasion. so out of my old stuff, i chose my entry for the "A Season's Love" challenge from the War in the summer of '07.

never submitted this due to the noob leaves (i imagine people going: "omg default brushes must die! Dx"). it was slated for revamp until i admitted to myself that as time passes, the chances of me redoing the leaves properly nosedives.

so i pulled out the old PSD, which i messed up previously by merging layers that should remain separate for editing purposes. *self-stab* i repainted the shadows, changed some leaves, rewrote the text by hand, modified the vector (original scan), and threw on a texture. it's decent now, as opposed to before, but perhaps still not at the level i should currently be walling at. i pretty much know what to expect in terms of critiques from real scenic wallers. xD;;
