Points aside, this wallpaper has some good ideas going on but there's a large disparity between the background, Gintoki, and the text. The background is crisp and ornate, but the scan looks rather grainy [especially the lines], and the text just looks very fuzzy [this could be because of the font]. The fact that only the background is textured creates a rough vs. smooth contrast between the background and the foreground; Gintoki and the text look too clean. The texture is also deadening the colors of the background too; for a series as crazy as Gintama, the colors should be exploding too, and here that effect is toned down in the background, and it isn't helped in the slightly blurry foreground.
