This is my second wallpaper, and my first ever vector (woo!). The screenshot is from episode 24 from Evangelion, and it's one of my favorite scenes - this shot is held for a solid minute at least, as it build tension. I took a screenshot directly from the anime and worked with that to make this wallpaper.

I know some people will probably think the top left is a little empty but I wanted that space there because it keeps attention on what I want: the Eva unit and Kaworu. The red light coming from beneath them is from the anime, they're standing in a pool of LCL which has that glow effect.

I have to thank Bernouli for basically everything about this wallpaper. She gave me some great suggestions that I ended up going with. Also, thank you LilDevil for your support and advice.

Nice, it's one the angels in EVANGELION right?
i'm not sure if that's what they called "angel"
that's Shinji's angel, it's very pretty
it looks like real and the glow of colors rocks!

A beautiful wall, the colors are deep and it really captures the tension of that moment in the series. I also agree with your decision to keep the top left blank, it's hard to keep attention on Kaworu when the Eva is so huge (and it's hand it obscuring him!)

I think it's a bit too plain, maybe some more colors could give the wall some more depth and at the same time help where to focus the eye, but you still did a great job vectoring the screencap you took from a great moment of the series. Anyway, I hope to see more walls from you soon :D

I haven't seen this motive on a wallpaper yet. So, it was a good idea to do it. But how you did it, I'm not really impressed. I don't have a problem with the empty background, which was your intention to focus the scene. The problem is, you mixed a 2D drawing with a 3D (a least 3D looking) background. This may work sometimes, but for my taste, in doesen't work on this walllpaper. The transparency you used, doesen't make things better.

really nice job, i like the green you used for the eva and really nice vectors
i agree with hugo02 on the opacity thing, but i dont really mind.
the wall brought me memories back, when i watched this anime xDD
i hated that this scene lasted like 2 minutes, even tho i didnt want kaworu to die T^T
