As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. Ctrl is useful when you want to control the angle of the vector. Shift is for asymmetric vector. You can combine the two also. One more thing, if you start an other path while pressing shift and that a former path is selected, the two will combined.

I only use ctrl for zooming, backspace I knew because it is the same in PS and AI. The shift and enter I didn't know, those are useful. I ended a path using right mouse on my last node

You have to finish the path to edit it with the node tool. You can finish a path by closing it up or by pressing enter. You can also go back in the path by pressing backspace. I also suggest you to try pressing shift and ctrl while using the Bezier tool^^

Q mouton; Can you edit nodes while in bezier tool? Because now I finish a path first and then use the edit tool to change it.

Hey, guys! I made another Bleach wallpaper. I couldn't resist, Shinji is just too... too much of everything. xD

I made a vector of him from this scan. It took me forever to make... probably because I was lazing around for two days instead of working in PS to vectorize the picture at a heat. -_- I think... 6 hours of work would cover this wallpaper, as the wall itself is simple. I love simplicity. xD

Woot, a Captain Shinji wallpaper! I loved this scan from the calendar...actually I loved that calendar in general :) Great clean vector, and the texture you applied is simple and effective, doesn't take away from the quality of the scan like some other walls I've seen. Fun text and colors too. Great job!

The way I love that image of Shinji (my second favourite from bleach) has not explanation haha.

Well yes, I absolutely agree that Shinji is... everything, especially HOT (and oh, with long hair yeeeeeey|(VcV)| emoticon)
fav just because Shinji is hot and this wall has nothing to take away the focus from him, simple and cool, just as Shinji deserves it|(n_n)| emoticon (haha, ok, I'll be honest, I give it a fav coz it's a very nice job - I'm not as crazy as to give avay my favs for fav charas if they aren't walled nice enough)
ok, sorry for my blabbering, I'm really tired..(x_x) emoticon but this one is a definite fav..

Nice vector! Even though I'm not a fan of the character himself, I do like this wallpaper a lot. The detail on the vector is very good. it keeps my attention.

Oh my god, Shinji. He looks so amazingly hot here (as usual). And simplicity is a wonderful thing; that you can make something supposedly simple stand out and look as if it took more time to make than it did, is a wonderful mark of skill.

Ahhh I love Shinji so much. My favorite vizard undoubtedly. And I almost passed out when I saw his long long hair. Hes so... awesome
The vectoring is really good, I could even say it'r perfect because it gives this feeling of colored scan instead of vector.
The whole wall is actually very simple, but it's really good like that. I loved the "Turn back the Pendulum" text.
