celebrating my community waller status! >:3 emoticon

updated an old wallpaper of mine (~_~) emoticon

made it when the art-nouveau styled walls were a bomb, which was in spring i guess (XD) emoticon

vectored >this< darn little scan
vectored the frame from some mucha's painting (thanks to saikusa for the scan)
painted the lilies (used a sailor moon scan as a referense)
today, added a texture, modified it for the wall (which took me an hour or so (o_o) emoticon

)
and it's done (^3^) emoticon

Hehe .. yeah .. as a fan of the OVAs and the manga (I sold it though, kept the Artbook however), I really love this wallpaper. Amazing ultra quality vector combined with a clean background and awesome shadow-blending blur.
I really can't think of a better way to make the best out of the "low-res"-scan you had. Really beautiful and since I like older anime more than newer ones (of course there are exceptions, but I kinda love OVA more than the new TV episodes), I'll give you a fav on this to encourage you for more :).

Oh btw.: if there were a widescreen version of the wallpaper, it'd be really amazing (1680x1050 would be really awesome!).

IMO, it looks so much better with the texture, it gives the wall a vintage feeling.
As I already mentioned at MT when you submitted it there months ago, the vectoring is lovely, I love the frame.
I see you also added the text, but I don't think it fits very much...

Overall, it's amazing ^^

I immediately downloaded this, yesterday. It's on my desktop right now, and I just realized I forgot to comment. =) It's absolutely stunning. The colors are so warm and pleasing, and the design encircling Bell is stunning. Thanks for sharing it.

Ah My Goddess works with the nouveau so well. :)

This is such eye candy on full view! I love the subtle details like the textures that completes the finishing touches. Simple and elegant, Belldandy herself ought to be very pleased!

Really lovely. Nice to see the old OVA style represented in something that can actually be used on modern resolutions. The texturing is great too, I agree with everyone... It gives it a gritty sort of feel like it was something recovered from an ancient civilization! Goddess Belldandy. <3 emoticon
