Temari is my favorite kunoichi by far in the Naruto series, and there aren't many walls that solo on her.
Temari is not only cunning, witty, and highly adaptive as a ninja but is the oldest of the Sand siblings, and I would imagine that raising her younger brothers (who both happen to be strong ninja as well) would be a difficult task.

Often, her power is overshadowed by Gaara and I wanted to do a wall that pays tribute to Temari herself.

The scan came from the AP gallery and, I believe it was pre-vectored.

I used many brushes and played with the layer effects to create a subtle yet powerful wind-cut like pattern on the background. The two main colors come from Temari's fan and I wanted to use those two colors as a base color scheme.

The bamboo brushes were more of an after-thought in hopes of backing the bg less plain, but also because I felt the bamboo gave the wall a more oriental/ninja feel.
