I've been wanting to make a series of Okami walls that features each of the Zodiac animals for a while now, and what better time to launch this than at the beginning of the Year of the Ox (in just a few days time!) So here you have an Ox. Really not much more to this than that. A trace, a run through Painter for the shading, and some billowy clouds traced off of a different Okami scan. A rising sun because... well, I don't remember know why that's there, except it was a nice, large element to place in the background without distracting from the details of the ox.
Framed, because I want to make more in this series and having a frame will tie them together better, plus it'll look better for multi-monitors. Textured for that aged ukiyo-e look, although I didn't use my standard cross-wise paper texture but a more splattered paper one.
