Hello, Tyki wants to know if you prefer one lump of sugar or two to enjoy with your tea? I think Tyki is a pretty cool cat, and when looking through D.Gray-man scans and I saw a scan of Tyki and Road, a scene popped up in my head, so I tried to capture that as much as possible.
I had a lot of fun making this wall. I got to play mini interior designer or something. Anyway, this wall for me had a lot to do with learning perspective and the transform tools on PS. I wanted patterns and such to look like they were on the object they decorated. I think for the most part I did an okay enough job with it.
So, I vectored and painted everything in this wall. For the furniture I just did google search, though I did put my own spin on many of the pieces (like the folding tea table, I did the "inlaid" wood look, and most of the post from scratch, I basically needed help with the three legs).
The tea service was inspired by a set from anthropologie, though I did come up with the designs for the tea cups on my own.
I did use some brushes from deviantArt.com, but I don't know why for about a few days now I can't see anything past the first page of searches so I can't link to them, sorry!
