Hi everyone!

With this I want to submit my second wallpaper to the site; Never Let Go... (yes, another FF VII wall - I'm just a BIG fan :) )

The original idea was to create a wallpaper with only Cloud, but when I started working on it, it felt empty, like something still belonged at his side, and Tifa fitted there like she was made for it!

Maybe nice to show; this where the scan's of the characters I started out with:





The figures have been delicately cut-out and fixed as there where a lot of parts covered in typo. The colors have all been hand-adjusted, starting from black + white originally. Then I began my search for the background, which is infact a wall. I also wanted to have some typical FF details in it, so they appear as the FF VII Logo, and Cloud's Wolf's head as if there imprinted on the wall. In the end I think it took me about 7 or 8 hours and about 40 layers. Don't know for sure, didn't clock it ;)

The intention of the image was to be a bit ethereal or spiritual, so wherever they are, they will always have each other...

Anyway, I hope you'll all like the mood and the wall itself.
