The vector does look great. I love Chou-un. I like the graffiti text. Not too sure about the checkered background, but it doesn't look bad. I'm not sure what kind of background would have worked better. All in all, the wallpaper is really good.

The "chess" like backbround is maybe what's not that well on that wallpaper, but it still is sexy and stylish so, good job. =)

I agree with various opinions, the vector is really great but this deserves a more of an epic background nonetheless it's going to my faves, nice job .

Great vector, nice shadows always love the no-line art style. Can't seem to get the brickwall background at the moment, I did like how the checkered one had some good lighting which brought out the character. Just from the thumbnail view of the brickwall version I see that you've made it a lot darker, which sadly hides most of the shadow work that you've done, also the character now seems really oddly lighted in comparison to the rest of the background. Although the wall deserves more than the simple checkerboard I think you do need to keep the same bright and clean style that reflects that of the vector.
