It's a good vector but honestly I don't see the point in it...the original scan is so much better and contains more detail. If you want to put your skills to use then create something original with it, don't just change up something here and there and call it a wallpaper. I myself would rather use the scan as a wallpaper than your vector, and if I needed to resize it, or clean it up, I'd do that for my own personal use (not only b/c this place doesn't allow submissions like that) but because it's not an original idea for a wallpaper, just like yours isn't.

p.p.s. sorry I know I'm being mean but I'm just trying to be a good critic. Don't take it personnally, I'm sure you are a good artist in other regards. I just want you to use your skills properly.
