I found this vector and decided to make it into a wall.

I made a star background for it because I thought it would suit the vector. I really liked the idea of making it look like Haruhi was floating in space. Then to get the vector to fit in I adjusted the layers to darken down the shadows and add a blue hint to everything.

The Earth I decided to extract as I knew it would look better if it were more of a focal point so I added a glow to it and put some 3D renders in the background. I then had to change the shadows on one of her hands as with the Earth now one of the main light sources I didn't think it looked right.

After I had everything looking good I then just went back and made some minor tweaks. Then voila done!
