I had started this to celebrate my 2 year anniversary here at AP (that was like... 9 months ago...). It was also going to be my first wallpaper as a community waller (I became one about 11 months ago...). But a few months ago, I got promoted and now I’m a senior member! ARG, I never got the chance to submit walls as a community waller! Give me back my childhood!

j/k j/k lolol! I'm sho happy! But I know I don’t deserve to be a senior member seeing as my promotion went almost unnoticed, lol! That or I’m hated by more than I thought! *awkward silence* I had always wanted to be promoted for being a good member rather than for my walls! Since my walls suck and I haven't made one since I was a CW, this must be the case, right?

I'm really grateful for the great learning experiences I've had here as well as the wonderful encounters that I have made. Of course, for the time being, I'm ignoring all the negative things that I've also experienced here, hehe. Anyway, I learned a lot about graphics here, and I still have much to learn too. So thank you for letting me stalk you!!

I chose to wall Sailor Moon for my anniversary wallpaper because the series has really influenced my art life... and life in general, lol. This particular image is one of my favorites (yet I totally changed it)! I thought a (now cliche) moon & cloud BG would match the scan and series more than anything, lol, but I didn't think that I could make a good one 8| I also like the original background but I didn’t know how to recreate it 8*|

I don’t like to change the original image much when walling, but for this scan I redrew the wings and hair, because I thought that the big chunk of hair by her face was kinda distracting. And I thought the original’s wings were a bit weird, but I couldn’t find a good reference to copy, so I think I ended up making them worse than the original, especially the angle OTL It was really hard and tiresome to draw ;_;

My complaints on the wall: Usagi doesn't blend into the BG because I suck, and I didn't plan properly, and I'm too lazy to redo the coloring. I hope this factor isn't as annoying to you as it is to me *_* The coloring isn't smooth because I don't know how to paint properly and soft brushes lie. And as you may be able to tell, I was lazy when coloring the wings (even though they still took so much time in the end). I also don't like how it looks cropped. ... I hate many other things too. But I love big dogs.

Critique is welcome! As I mentioned, I already know a lot of stuff are wrong, but after spending so much time on this wall, I've become very sick of it and don't want to fix anything. Please expect my next walls to be worse BD

EDIT: I read vitaamin's comment and realized that the cyan is indeed quite despicable, so I lazily made a scary purple version for anyone who's interested, lol.
