Well, it's been a really long time since I've made a wallpaper worth even caring about, but I got bored again and actually got something done with it.
The image was a screenshot I took from the second episode of Fooly Cooly. Originally, I was trying something totally different with one of the scans I had found and was trying to make a fire background. I was watching the series through for inspiration and this screenshot was just amazing. So, in the end, that's what became my wallpaper.
The original screenshot was 640 x 480, so this took a lot of vectoring and recoloring. I spent about 8 hours just on cleaning this up, then I had to create some of the effects by hand. The grass was entirely done by hand. The screenshot was flat and I wanted a windswept look, so that too another hour to make grass. After that, I had to adjust the color levels, and it was complete.
