Well, another wallpaper from me, and this time - widescreen! Although I'm not exactly a widescreen person, I had to do it this way in order to use the space effectively.

This wallpaper was designed to use in Cibo's Anime Wallpaper Contest, so there was a pretty big stipulation for the design - there had to be something drawn by me. So, being the retard I am, I hand drew both Tokiko and Kazuki and vectored them both for this wallpaper. It took way too long.

Time taken: about 40 hours over two weeks

Layers: *shudders* too many

The original inspiration for this wallpaper came from this scan. I had to design it over myself to make a wallpaper from it, so this is what came of it.

Very well done hand-drawing! I love your choice of placing a Sunlight Heart design as the overall background theme, following the scan. You might want to put the rest of the designs on the weapon while you're at it.

I really like the way that the it has this sort of spotlight effect on Tokiko-san, what with the shadow and all, but the colors for her skirt and the collar-dealy could've been a bit darker. I think it would have done well with those two objects being about the colour of Kazuki-kun's jacket.
But that's just my opinion.

I just noticed that this is the only wallpaper of this series. Which is a shame since its starting to get alil interesting. I do admit its got flaws, for me it moves alil too fast with not enough character development, but it still deserves some attention. Thank you for taking the initiative and making a paper for this series. If youre taking requests, may I ask for a Mahiro paper please?

Yeah i agree, the anime was getting interesting, however, i stopped watching it because the homunculus looked lame especially the bad guy with the butterfly mask.

However, I really like this wallpaper, colors and effects match very well with the theme and artstyle for this wallpaper. good job and keep up the good work, hope to see some more great work from you soon.

Hey way to spend P.O.D on some thing other than class work. Eh it's better than listening to sostacks speeches. The portrait insert looks a little sketchy but good none the less.

Interesting wall, I didn't like it at first, but now I think it is actually pretty well done. Interesting style, although, I might just go with a different one for this series. I personally still like Busou Renkin, and still d/l it ;D It's worth the watch, imo.

Its sad to see just two wallpapers for this series, since the show has an interesting storyline and characters...i didn't quite like your wallpaper at first, but having a closer look at the wallpaper i say...well done!

Busou Renkin...this anime sounds intruiging...i' gonna watch it soon...and this wall is abit odd to me, though..Because i haven't seen the anime yet, therefoe i can only tell that those two are the main characters and they are quite ok for me. Anyway, this is a rare encounter for me to see such wall, so thumbs up for this one! =>
