As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. *FULL VIEW* - IT LOOKS A LOT BETTER!
Well, first time I vectored a mechanic object a a gundam ...
And after this... I swear I will never vector mechanic thing again...+.+
A pain... a pain!I just realized this after starting to vector the gudam+.+ I couldn't stop because I already finished vectoring Lacus already at that time...
The scan is from a small magazine therefore its quality is quite bad +.+
I spent a lot of time on the gundam so that it wouldn't look like ... a cartoon...
I hope it turned out more real... ^.^
The orignial scan only has Lacus and the Gundam, looked quite plain. therefore I added some more Haros and Torii... (Be noted that I drew everything in this wallpaper)
About this wallpaper's meaning... I really feel comfortable when looking at it...
A peaceful feeling...
Seems like Lacus is easing the pain of the war, after the battle (I tried to emphasize on the damaged Gundam)...
Anyway... hope you like it...

anyways, i think you did a great job vectoring, and i love the scan you chose. you made a good decision by adding tori & haros...much more interesting now.

do you have a textless ver. by any chance? i don't really like the font you used.

Well, the vector of Lacus... uhhh... well... looked bad on her eyes and hair...
I guess you used the plastic wrap effect too much...

The gundam's vector is done very beautifully, and the halos are a nice touch.
but the scratches are too clean to go with the smoke around the gunpods, which looks weird to me. I'm very picky because I always weather my models when I paint them... You can try finding some pics of pro level painted & weathered gundams to see what i mean.
Overall this is still a great wall I think.

I same with Rukawa, the font too small. the wall overall look goo but something you have to fix about (my opinion XD), like the body, is too nice, if you add some of the scratch will be nice. keep it up XD

Very old, but nonetheless, cool wallpaper of Freedom Gundam and Lacus. There is an amazingly about of sharpness and contrast in the image. My only irk, is the text in the upper left isn't really needed. Other than that, great job and keep up the good work.

I particularly not taste very of this series, but seeing its work in the main page, could not leave to go to confer and to sanction its work.

E I was surprised at so great quality and technique, really a work that it deserves to be sanctioned.

The clouds are a spectacle to the part, but what it impressed me exactly was the quality of the digital painting, the only thing that did not convince me very was the kneaded parts of the metal, nothing that harms the final work, did not only find realist the sufficient.

But as me it does not seem that the idea has been to be realistic and yes beautiful e well fact, I well even find that you if it left well, of more.

With all its technique and creativity, I believe that you I could try to more create one another pulled work for the side of the realist, I find that you if he would leave very well.

Congratulations for magnificent and obliged wallpaper for in sanctioning them with its art.

Until one another work and is with God.

Forgive me, but the damage you've put on the Gundam is really painful to look at. You really have taken the trouble with the vector, but the dents and bents you've added make it look like a 'cartoon'.

I don't think the haros and torii have been put in very well, but it isn't off at least. Lacus is the best part of the wallpaper...well, and the concept.

Hm. i agree with some other people too. the gundam looks too clean. and the haros shouldnt be there. and plus, what are the chances of Lacus sitting on a gundam, let a side that, she hates them. =.='
oh yeah, did you draw Lacus?
anyways, overall this wallpaper is done fairly well, but it can have more in it. also, the font is too small.

Awesome vector! I've actually wanted to vector a gundam but I've always thought that it would be too troublesome. I can't believe that you vectored the whole thing. The outlines and such may be too sharp and maybe a bit of blurring and texture would make the vector look even better with the background.
Anyway, good work!
