To make the character I use a program for 3d modeling.
Then, in Photoshop, stack all layers, the text, the character,
“the little yellow things” and finally added shadows.

Programs used: Autodesk Maya 2008, PhotoShop and Illustrator.
Please comment on my wall and enjoy it!

I like everything in this wallpaper. the simpleness, the character, the font, all of them are really fit and nice. really fit my desktop nicely.

on top of all, the yellow on the character really brings calmness to my head and thus really nice in my opinion.

Hm... I do not know what else I should write here, I really adore this wallpaper.

Seems like a nice start, but I don't really like the plain white bg or the tiny moyashimon character in the bottom right corner. Maybe make a light orange background with simple designs?

Refreshing and adorable!
The yellow little creature in 3-D is cute and pretty catchy. :) But I think you should do something to the background or the general scene, even though the current simplicity is nice as it is. (I like the way you left blank portions--my icons love them. lol)

Wow, this is something I can honestly say I've never seen done on AP before - 3d modeling. You did a great job on this, which makes the simpleness of this wall worthwhile.

I feel like the Japanese characters should be behind your little yellow thing, though, so it looks more like he's popping out of the screen!

Thats just too cool, its awesome. actually i dont like it, when the background stays white, but in this case, i believe there is no better match with the yellow you used.

Ha, thats funny, simple but good enough to be a wallpaper, i think you can add some other color in the background instead of just white... that white color come with the light yellow of the scan makes me feel a bit dizzy...

I'm sure this has already been said 100 times before me but this is the cutest wallpaper I've even seen. It's so unique and I love the 3d effect to I mean how cool is that. The symbols are perfect and it's impressively high quality. This is the best wallpaper I've seen all day it deserves the top spot for sure and an A++ and FAV Great job .(n_n). emoticon

This is a great wall!!
simplicity is good.
i only wish you could have made the character 'pop' out a bit more, i.e. make it more 3D by perhaps using a more extreme/bright yellow, more shadow and light reflections, to enhance the life-like effect.
apart from that, everything is clear and clean. great use of colour and texture for the font and i like the original layout of your text.
very nice...
