As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. So ~YanagiTenks requested a wallpaper from me and I was given this scan. Never again will I vector hair like that >_> I wish the speech bubbles weren't covering the lines!
I also know that this pairing doesn't exist Tenks! Isn't it Tamahome x Miaka? D:

Done in the same style as my Gravity of Love. Because Tenks approved!
Thanks to a HDD crash the .psd file was lost forever.

I love it. Its nice and simple as well as clean. But it doesnt seem like the woman is showing very much charm... it looks like she is freaked out, lol. Well you did a great job on this wallpaper. Keep up the good work!

maybe you shld vector all the outlines and lessen the opacity of the lines of the side...well, just my opinion, though...nice vector on this wall...+fav

Yeah, FY was sooo nicely drwan and the story
but I kinda didn't like how it had to go on and on the ending..
Did someone watch the OVA and their added ending? I think that was too much...

The colour of the background fits the "drawing"

Your vector is smooth and flowing, and there's no doubt that this wall is very beautiful thanks to your techniques. It just sucks that you weren't able to vector the characters fully, since it looks kinda weird with both of them missing the back of their hair xD You did an awesome job though, considering what you were given :) Nice work.

A Yuu Watase vector!? Again, it's so clean and looks so much like the original! Ah, it brings back memories... After looking at this for a while and wondering what might make this more attention-getting, I got a coloring idea. I wonder how this would look if you blotted some colors on (like on their hair and skin and stuff) and then gaussian blurred it a lot. Maybe that would make if feel dreamier?

(Did you notice that my first 4 sentences started with an A?)

I like fushigi Yuugi. I really like the art of how it was drawn, the eyes, face, lips, and the hair. The wallpaper seems nice even though the hair is kinda mess up, but i like it. It looks neat and the outline are good.
