While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

I like how they travel through books in the library in the anime, so I wanted to do a wall of that ^^ I made it more dramatic, and hopefully, more mystical looking than it is in the show. I did stick with how the library is dark in the show, so like all the light is from the magic of the book :3 Made all the books and papers for it and used an old book texture I scanned earlier to finish it off.

one thing i cant stop noticing is the girl in that wallpaper is somewhat missing expression... as if ...

Yami to Boshi... is always rank among the underappreciated anime... too bad, really. Between the fan service, incestous lesbianism and weirdo planar travelling, the anime is quite good, although I've never actually finished watching 'em. One of these days, I guess.

And oh yeah, the wallpaper? Well, it's nice, capturing the gloominess of the Library... and with the added fanservice *lol*. Although I wish you'll make a wall of... erm... that girl with the eye-hat next.

Wow, you made that wall? I've seen it used by a friend of mine and it was beautiful. Been trying to find it myself since then, and I ran into here... Well, wonderful work, I shall use it as my desktop sooner or later. :D

Wooh! looks like it was done by a pro! amazing lighting and everything. the image is sharp and clear, the bg matches the foreground. But the paper on the upper most portion of the wall looks very plastic, doens't match the rest of the wall at all.

:3 I've seen your walls before, so I've already had the liking of work :) I really love the concept of traveling through a book :x Reminds me of Fushigi Yuugi. The scan you used is really pretty (>_< wish I had the skills to draw like that ...oh yeah, I draw btw^^; ). Dark and creepy libraries...I like, however, the pieces of papers flying around don't quite fit in with the wall :x That's just what I think. ;___; Wish I could wall.

Gotta say, the posing and concept is very appealing. The light and mystical textures emitting from the book and the papers flowing around the girl gives the viewer a really magical feel n.n And a dark background is just the thing to make the main focus kick off
