This wallpaper captures the urban essence that proliferated the art of Ghost in the Shell in every incarnation of the series. Phill does an amazing job of capturing a moment of surrealism.

While there are a few, stray building angles and shadows, you find that your eye forgives the minor details and instead focuses on the overall scene that is larger than life, with lights trailing off into infinity.

Well, I've been busy this week working on the new layout for Mercurial Design .NET, but that doesn't mean I couldn't do a new wallpaper as well. When working on this wall, I kept my original Elfen Lied wallpaper in mind to use as a counter point; I went for a dark, post-sunset look for this one, going for a slightly grungy look as well. I worked really hard on this one, and I think it turned out very nicely. Check it out and enjoy!

I have to agree with the person above me, there aren't many "good" elfen lied wallpapers arround, you picked out a realy nice scan and added a great background to match. Its a very good work :)

Great, this wallpaper is really really great, the background and colour make an atmosphere that really fits with Lucy's character and it also give you the dark impression from the anime. Lucy also looks very great in this wallie, great job

This is just cool. I love the bloody, hellish atmosphere of this wallpaper and, as usual, the overlay and layer effects are great. The text also looks really good, I love the blood-spattered feel of it.

I love the thing you've made with the text and the scan is sweetly blurred. There could be some more on background but it works this way too.

Interesting use of fiery red and black. The feeling of apocalypse is conveyed with terrifying ease. Although not in the anime, I have the feeling that she's standing close to some molten lava nearby due to the rocks beside her. XD
