As an animation, Bakemonogatari has a simple, clean art style. But the guest illustrations for the series are anything but simple! So, it's great to see that °Tens took on a more complex illustration and made it his own with vector gradients so fine at points it more resembles painting that vectoring. hardest part: painting the stupid leaves and/or vectoring his hair >__>.

anyways not much to say about this except it was alot of fun to practice painting. i love vectoring KHR because its like.. BLACK CLOTHES AND BLACK HAIR and then awesome painted faces. i mean... the fact that the guys are hot doesn't hurt either

i cannot paint leaves to save my life, i tried a more detailed version and that failed then i tried silhouette and that also failed. and then i tried ten billion other things that failed and this is the final product XD

and my clouds still look like cotton balls of death. im too lazy to learn how to make proper ones OX

Lolz i almost did'nt recognize him here though. His hair looks different. Must be all the wind blowing it. xD Anyway, you did a lovely job vectoring and painting this one. I especially love the way you did those bamboo trees there. The sky is also very nicely done. *Favs*

You're getting better and better at everything.
The clouds are amazing, can't describe them otherwise, so is everything in this wall. His hair/clothes are too black for the light colored background, maybe you should add a bunch of light shadows here and there ^^"
No biggy though, you did a marvelous job!

I really like the way you paint the character. It's a very interesting technique (he looks so real!) and the background is lovely (except for the clouds, you're right: they seem like cotton balls but I'm sure you will know how to make clouds in the near future. All you have to do is to sit down and practise more and more until you're satisfied with the result (and of course you could use a tutorial as a reference. Why not? ^^) Anyway, great job with this wallie!

Wow the colours used in this wallpaper are amazing. There is just one thing that throws me off though, and that is that the colouring of the skin/face doesn't seem to match everything else. It is perhaps too "anime" compared to the bg and strong colours. Hard to explain, and i know you're staying true to the original scan, so I'm not sure how else you could have done it. Perhaps trying to make it look more painted? Like brush-stroked outlines? haha =p Idunno. Anyway, good job, but unfortunately that one thing bothers me too much to actually use it DX
