Dunno what others are talking about, but I'm glad you finally called this done and put it online. :) The vector is very clean, technically perfect, and the gradients and colors you chose are great. I think you did really well on the reconstruction. When you first showed me this on msn, I had no idea the original scan was cut off that much, so you did a lot of work to extend the cape and other details on the right.
Considering all the hours of frustration on msn talking about the clouds I figure I should comment on them too XD. I think I like the original 3 bulges you had because they didn't take up as much space as these do, or curve up into the left corner. I also think some wispy cirrus clouds behind the fluffy cumulus ones could work too (even though I know you've said you can't make them). Maybe it's just personal preference. XP I still think a tablet would help out a lot - to get the curves and smudging strokes cleaner and stuff. But with more practice I'm sure you'll figure out the best kinds of clouds that work for you. :)
