This is my first wallpaper that I want to submit...
But I m not so sure about it, since it s rather simple...

I know it s summer right now... but in my town it s really cold...
maybe its weird to use such a wallpaper in summer, haha...

I used a photo for the background... first I wanted to create a 'typical city image', you know... shopping district, colorful lights, many people on the street
but somehow I changed my mind XD

one other thing... I have never centered characters (here -> Miharu) in my wallpapers... you know, right in the middle... maybe it s too outstanding? So this is my first time too... hope you dont find it disturbing ^^

I don't think the wallpaper feels awkward at all with the character in the center like that. It makes more sense with the city scene behind him, to be quite honest. It gives you a focal point to look at, instead of just skimming over the vague landscape.

Absolutely adore the filtered background - it looks beautiful, and fits wonderfully with the scan. I wish that the background was a teensy bit darker though. Either that, or make the character a teensy bit lighter.

The only other critique would be that the character scan could use a bit of CGing - since I can see quite a bit of artifacts on my screen - esp. since most of the background looks so nice and smooth.

Otherwise, lovely job! Keep up the good work *thumbs up*

I don't think the character in the middle is too outstanding...Somehow it just fits. I have to say, this must be my favorite to date...partially because it reminds me of my time in Tokyo.

Very pretty! I do think Miharu stands out a little too much, though, maybe you could have lightened and softened the colors up to match the background?

Anyways, it's still really beautiful and relaxing ^_^
