Thanks to yeseg92 for sharing this scan. I saw this image year(s) ago, but it was only a thumbnail. Love the nostalgic look of the art. Might end up vectoring it whenever I get the energy/mood to do it. Mainly just cleaned up the scan, added some textures, and played with the text (lyric excerpt from "If I ever feel better" by Phoenix)

Wow! I love Hiroyuki Asada, and i'm really happy to see on AP a good wallpaper like this!
I like the colors and the texture but most of all the text^^!

Maybe you could do some other wall on Hiroyuki's art...

The two things that grabbed me in this wallpaper are the subject and the color. The color is a very unique blend. Like an Animepaper brand smoothie...or something. And the image you used is great, it conveys a great feeling of closeness. And those feelings are some of the best around.

Love it, makes me feel like... To be determined.
I love it non-the less. It has a brightish-dark look and wide array of colors mainly blue, this wall can tell a story in many diffrent directions.

The colors are very nice. I love the textures and the bubbly circles. It kinda makes the wall more unique. The title text was kinda confusing to read but i like the style and how you did it.

Nice wallie...reminds me of some movie...hmmm well it reminded me of a movie because it looks like a cinematic screenshot. and nothing beats a romantic wallpaper! ^_^ i like that you used shades of blue and green for the effects..and that little splash of yellow made it look like an old pic..hehe! i like it! +fav

The colors don't work for me as it completely is retro-fied the wall. if that was your aim, congrats, but its not really working for me.

HOWEVER, I love how well you cleaned the scan, and goodness, this is soo romantic. I feel the nostalgic vibe, but not the lonely kind though. I dunno, I'm sort of comflicted with this one and its somewhat taking me long to process.

I like the manga look, it looks like it was straight out of the manga, just colored. ;)
The textures look nice, and those dark tones add to the feeling.
I'm not very fond of the color scheme though.

But overall, nice job. :)
