Paper People

A group for members who have contributed a lot to AnimePaper whether it be in the form of submitting high-quality wallpapers, high-quality scans, participating in the discussions in the forum, or upload MP3s to share. Members who are a part of this group will have access to some fun goodies such as music (albums, singles) or the occasional manga and scans when possible. The music posted won't typically be restricted to just Japanese music. It is also a place to have fun and hang out.

** _ MISSION STATEMENT _**

Paper People group encourages contribution and participation however big or small. Members in the group are AnimePaper members who have contributed and participated in AnimePaper and will continue contributing and participating in AnimePaper in many ways. Our group offers rewards for those members who have contributed to AnimePaper.

Paper People group ** DOES NOT** discriminate between members with an excessive amount of papers and members with little amounts of papers. Paper People group also ** DOES NOT** discriminate between members of a higher user level and members of a lower user level. Anybody who has contributed are eligible to apply!

** _ WHO CAN APPLY? _**

Paper People is a group for the members in AnimePaper who have contributed to AnimePaper in five possible ways: 1) Participated in the discussion in the AnimePaper forum. 2) Submitted scans that were accepted. 3) Submitted wallpapers that were accepted. 4) Post MP3s to share with the AP members. 5) Donated money to help with AP server costs.

Please note that for entering the group, you will need to be an AP member for longer than a month, have a positive papercount and have at least posted 10 comments/forum posts of reasonable quality (not just "awesomes"s and "cool"s)

Paper People group is a privilege and a reward, not a right so please don't complain if you weren't admitted the first time. Try harder and apply again. The amount of times you can apply is infinite if you weren't accepted! Think of this group as a reward booth for all that you contribute to AnimePaper and a place to hang out with other fellow members as well!

Members who have earned special status in AnimePaper have also earned a permanent spot in the group. This includes current and retired AP staff members, and those with Legendary status. Though this may seem contradictory to the mission statement, it is not. All can apply regardless of status, but some are exempt from removal.

** _ MEMBER BENEFITS _**

Members who are a part of the Paper People group will receive benefits, rewards, or whatever you want to call it. The benefits are as listed: 1) We will upload music for the members and the link will be exclusively for the members only! These can range from JPop/JRock albums/singles to Anime OSTs/Singles to much more. Members can make requests as well! 2) We will upload a certain manga from time to time for the members. Members will take a vote as what manga they want us to upload since it is for the members, not us. Unfortunately, no anime 'cause of bandwidth issues. 3) We will upload high quality artbook scans from time to time so members will be able to download these scans we upload without wasting any papers. 4) Access to THREE GMail accounts full of Anime OP/EDs. Can't find that anime op/ed you're looking for, it might be in one of these three accounts.

** _ REQUIREMENTS TO REMAIN IN PAPER PEOPLE _**

All we ask of our members is to participate in the group. We understand that some members are busy, and, therefore, are unable to have a full participation, and we grant leniency in such cases.

To remain a member in the group, you must comment at a minimum of once per month. If you will be busy for a specific time period notify a group staff member, so we can make an exception, if need be.

In the end what we want from everybody is to have fun, and make this group one of the most enjoyable on AP!

** _ THEwaller _**

THEwaller is not part of Paper People, nor is it of AP. THEwaller is a monthly editorial on making wallpapers, and those who do.

It is a great resource for all who wish to learn the art involved, and techniques thereof.

That said, Paper People proudly promotes (say that ten times fast) THEwaller, and encourages group members to take advanteage of this resource. All who enjoy it, can help in promoting it by using one of the sigs on their UP or in their sig.
