A group for all Cowboy BeBop fans to get together and talk about the greatest anime ever. 3,2,1 LETS JAM.

Once upon a time, in New York City in 1941... at this club open to all comers to play, night after night, at a club named "Minton's Play House" in Harlem, they play jazz sessions competing with each other. Young jazz men with a new sense are gathering. At last they created a new genre itself. They are sick and tired of the conventional fixed style jazz. They're eager to play jazz more freely as they wish then... in 2071 in the universe... The bounty hunters, who are gathering in the spaceship "BEBOP", will play freely without fear of risky things. they must create new dreams and films by breaking traditional styles. The The work, which becomes a new genre itself, will be called... "COWBOY BEBOP"

_______________________________________________________________________________________________ We [strike]think[/strike] KNOW that bebop is a great (if not one the greatest) anime series, it is one of the few that have the quailty of animation and the music fit so well . And so We want to make a place where we can all talk about and express our ideas and thoughts about Cowboy BeBop.

If you did not know allready the group is called it the blue crow(swordfish-II=I thought of the name ^_^), because in the anime there is a bar that is called this, that is also the name of the city that apears in jupiter jazz.
In ep 12-13 both julia anf faye sit on the same stool in it (not at the same times you sicko' :p)

Both me (Swordfish-II and TheSquid) [strike]like[/strike] LOVE this series, so we will try very hard to make this a succesfull group. ~Thesquid

The Music (which is very important in bebop)

The Music of Cowboy Bebop is arranged and composed by genius composer Yoko Kanno, creator of the music from such series as Vision of Escaflowne, Earth Girl Arjuna, and Macross Plus, Most of this music was performed with the assistance of the Seatbelts, a group of musicians gathered by Yoko Kanno.

description: The man with a plan. The world-weary stoic. All this and a jazzer, too. Jet is a former member of the Inter-Solar System Police (ISSP) turned bounty hunter. He's an excellent mechanic, an able cook, and a pretty good nurse (or "nursemaid" if you feel like being derogatory towards Spike or Faye ^_~). Jet is the glue that keeps the Bebop and her crew together, or at lest he likes to think he does.

The Ships of Bebop:

SWORDFISH II

An old mono racer modified into a swift fighter jet. It features folding wings for easy storage, twin machine guns attached to the ends of each wing and a powerful plasma cannon. Originally owned and still maintained by aviation specialist Doohan.

HAMMERHEAD

A large rugged fishing ship. Jet's vehicle of choice. Armed only with a harpoon and no guns, this craft is not built for serious combat with other fighters. Rotating thrusters allow it to quickly switch from forward propulsion to reverse. With it's blunt front end, Hammerhead is often driven like a battering ram.

BEBOP

An old fishing vessel Jet bought shortly after he left the ISSP. The cozy home of the bounty hunters.

RED TAIL

A smooth zip craft with remote control functions, twin missile launchers and machine guns. With her money troubles, it is likely that Faye stole rather than bought the ship.
