Hello all!!
Well, a few of us allready know me, and they will recognize themselves! But well, i have to introduce myself for the others ;P
I'm Wing-a-ding-ding, but you can call me Wing! I'm 24 (No, I don't want to turn 25......), french (we're lot of french people around here... planing the world invasion, an't we?), living in Belgium at the moment for studying.
And i'm studying how to make great movies by myself! :D
So of course, i'm movie addicted, music addicted, reading and writing addicted, travels addicted and.. well, of course, i love japanese comics and animes!
I'm fan of Ghibli's fantastic work since... hmmm.. 1999.. I think it was when i saw Mononoke Hime when it was released in France. Can't remember if it was 1999 or 2000.. Anyway, i went to movietheater and see Mononoke Hime 6 times in one week... I was stunned... O_O
This was THE revelation for me!
Since then, i'm fan of their work, and i saw it all.
Everytime i watch one of them, it's such an unique moment!

WOW!!o_o"" your all europeans here! am i odd or WAT!! well, i'm viet, asian of course, and i'm an Aussie... proud to be wat i am but sometimes i can't help wishing to be something else... i'm 15 and just call me WIND, of couse, that's not my real name. i'd like it to be though... my all time ghibli film? definently Spirited Away! I've seen others but they aint as good... i love ghibli. not many people here do. so im excited!

PS: Is there a way to see the movie you made so far?
We are filming them in 16mm, and the school doesn't make any copy on dvd. But our classmates did!
I will have them in a few days, and i'm planing to upload them on the net to show them on my forum. So if you want to, i could give you the link when it's done ;)
I'm warning : it's mute movies, and really shorts ones (something like 3 minutes.).
I hope i could do some others during the summer :P

I'm American; so, maybe I shouldn't have joined your group. I'm hoping you will forgive me since I'm a big Ghibli fan. I'm older than the oldest of you by a few years, but that doesn't change the fact that my favorite Ghibli movie is My Neighbor Totoro.
I'll also say this, if you ever have a chance to get to Tokyo make sure to book tickets the the Ghibli Museum. It is mainly for small children, but it is also full of cute and interesting exhibits. I'm absolutely certain that like myself, any fan would spend way too much money in the museum store too.
