Hmm, could it be because the short time Sora becoming a heartless, cause it also explains why Roxas have a very short memory of Sora, unlike the other member who remembers all of their past life

Well, technically, it is.
Each time you defeat a heartless they release their heart, which then heads to Kingdom Hearts. That is the Nobody's task, to collect hearts, and they use Sora to accomplish it x3

Soo. the heartless are made from darkness in ones heart, the body left behind is made into a nobody. sora comes along and goes WACK! free's the heart and the nobody comes and collects it O_O body comes and collects the heart :D
So is Kingdom Hearts just a place where a heart rest

Idk if someone manages it. I think it manages on its own. But the nobodies try to manage it themselves to take the hearts for them.
If someone dies normally, I don't think the heart is released, but the soul instead.

The heart stops working as a result of lack of oxygen, but if it is set to work fast again it'll still function correctly ;3
So that most probably means the heart dies.!

soo maybe people who die naturaly become heartless anyway and the heartless seek to return to kingdom hearts... so the heart is not totally lost i guess.
