I was first introduced to Sailor Moon by my cousin. She had a few wall-scrolls that she had found at an anime store. The first time I ever watched it was back when Toonami on the Cartoon Network was running a marathon of the first Season - R. I know a lot of people complain about dubbing, but the original dub of Sailor Moon still has a place in my heart, also because it was the first anime I had gotten into.

*nods extreamly* You got it. The dubbed my be looking down on but its definatly my choice. I've bought the 3 movies in uncut... the show itself made a bit more sence because of a few clips but the music.. boy.. I'll admit it. I am a Sailor Moon fan, one of the biggest, but I can not stand the orginal music. Don't get me wrong, but to my ears. It is so sissy. Honest.. don't kill me for this but its the truth. You had guitars and bass and cool music in the dubbed version I grew to love. To me it had pride and power. The other... boy... it's like .. i'm a girl and um.. I'm a girly girl. Not that that's bad.. I guess I'm just not a girly girl and music mean's a lot to me. A lot. So, if I can choose i have to take the dubbed but I'd rather take the dubbed music and voices... and have the full version with the edited parts. But I understand why some parts were taken out because of the age group they targeted. So, all in all.. we still get to be fans.

Hahaha wow there are alot of dub fans huh well i will admit the dub version has a place in my heart also... but the thing that irks me a bit were some of the voices... they didn't seem to fit the character at all (especially usagi/serena) her voice was soo deep O_o? i was like wth hahahah some of the dub music were great ^-^ like the shes got the power one i think fit that situation very well and the music that played when senera finally got her crystal and turned into princess and beautiful song... but seriously the voices... id prefer the japanese one ^^

*^__^* Yeah, I'd have to agree. The english voice's varied a lot but the Japanese voice's fit nicely. Even in the 'LiveAction'. It very good. I had to read them all but all in all my ears were still happy.
In the first 2 season's of the dubed; Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon R; I thought those voice's fit nicely. The first one was a big young and girly. While the second season voice was a bit more mature but still had its light and fancy free feel to it. While the ones to follow after... it was to high pitched for me. I had a hard time listening at least for Serena's voice.
I know Mina/Venus/Minako's voice changed in the 3rd season but all in all it gave her a bit more life. Not saying that the orginal one before wasn't good. I loved that voice too but wasn't there one more voice that changed in the 3rd season?
