good thing this is open, there was too much talk about various things in the scavenger hunt thread, clogging up it's gaminess and whatnot.

The thing is not about whos taking part in it >_>.Its about you telling the topic first so people can decided whether they are upto the challenge or not?
Well, I think it's best to see who's willing to participate in any wallpaper competition and if so, what they would like as a theme.

Hey mister, i'll work up some traffic. how bout you work some up so we can get an actual conversation going on in here about what we're gonna do. so we can actually get started.
also, sorry for the delay in starting the other thread, my house was kinda hectic yesterday, had my roommates family over, and there was no way i could get away with isolating myself on the comp. going to work on it now.
edit: ok the other hunt is open. lemme know what you guys think of it. let's try to keep chatting here, unless it's about the specific hunt or competition going on in the thread it's related to.

I like the new hunt, but I doubt if it's handy to get people to post the anime series they can watch any time to look up hints. Personally, I have an external HDD filled with anime, plus a couple of series on DVD, but I know many people watch anime on TV, so they won't have the possibility of rewatching.
Please discuss, right now Damoser, Moto and me are basically the only ones talking, but we need the input of the other group members!

i vow to make it the best =)
Also damoser and GoldenApe are my 2 new mods and their decisions will be welcomed very much.All the other suggestions will be welcomed as well =)
Oh and btw Ga and dam what should i do with the people who are unactive on Ap for sometime??..Any suggestions?

Inactive for more than two months get a PM that they are removed from the group and may reapply when they become active again.
everybody gets a PM, saying they must join in this discussion and give us an opinion, those that don't receive another saying that since they have chosen not to participate in group activities they are no longer part of the group.
as for the list of animes, i mean that those who don't have access to watching them online, or getting them to watch on their computer, i.e. those with narrowband connections, list those that they have readily available, own. i don't expect people with broadband to list all of those they can get, the list would be far too long.
if we do it this way we can use this medium for hunts and make sure everyone is included.

Serious now, it's hard to force people to be active in this group. It'd be best if people just left the group themselves if they know they're not active. Anyways, maybe it is a good idea to send people a PM. I know there are about 240 members in this group, but we could split that amount and let's say, moto PM's membernames starting with A to G, damoser does H to K, I'll do L to R, etc. (just naming random letters). We could just make up a standard PM for everyone to send, maybe with a cool banner in it or something.

Wow, you guys are the only ones hanging around here? The new hunt thing is too complicated for people looking to join in. To get more people, the games should be fun and easy to participate in. Hard games would only make people give up after poking their heads in. What's the point of having a new hunt, only to have 3 people take part?
