Before I start anything, let's look at the definition of "Role-playing game"

a game in which participants adopt the roles of imaginary characters in an adventure under the direction of a Game Master.

If you've noticed I specifically bolded the words "adopt the roles of imaginary characters". With that said an RPG game is simply...

-a game wherein you chose what will happen, what you are going to do and etc.
-take note the an RPG does not require a complex story line or deep characters
-remember Role Play--pretending to be someone else
