Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online will be released in America and Europe
Though the intellectual property of Shin Megami Tensei belongs to Atlus, Cave Co. has worked with them to develop a Windows-based MMORPG with a MegaTen focus. Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine Online was released in early 2007 in Japan and will now be brought to North America and Europe by Aeria Games.
MegaTen Online will feature a real-time combat system with the ability to parry and block as well as attack. The weaponry used in game will feature typical MegaTen diversity, ranging from swords to guns. Another staple to the series that will be available in this MMO is demon fusion and demon team-ups. Like many other MMOs, SMT: Imagine Online will feature private party dungeons as well as public combat locations.
In porting the game to North America and Europe, it will be made available in English, French, German and Spanish. No other details have been released about the game's release other than Aeria stating that MegaTen Online "will soon be released" in a press release.

Limited Persona 2 Reprint Now Available on Amazon
Anyone planning to purchase Atlus's Persona 4 early next month now have a chance to learn a little history about the series. Atlus announced today that it has decided to reprint Persona 2: Eternal Punishment for the PlayStation, and sell it exclusively through Amazon.com. Quantities of the reprint are described as very limited. This version of Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is identical to the original which was released in North America on November 20, 2000, and it also comes with the bonus disc, on which there is an anime trailer and an interview with the Persona 2: Eternal Punishment creators.
This may be the best chance that most RPGamers will have to experience this classic PlayStation RPG, which has become rare and somewhat expensive. Persona 2: Eternal Punishment is the second game in the series released in North America, which began with Revelations: Persona, also for the PlayStation. The Persona games are a spin-off of Atlus's Megami Tensei series which began on the NES.
The story in Persona 2: Eternal Punishment follows Maya, a magazine editor who becomes involved with a series of mysterious murders. Players equip personas, just as in the more recent Persona games, which improve their characters' abilities. The game uses random battles, but players can also negotiate with demons for special bonuses. Tied into the storyline is a rumor system; when players spread a rumor to enough people it can become true.
The Persona 2: Eternal Punishment reprint is selling for $39.99. The newest game in the series, Persona 4, will be released for the PlayStaton 2 on December 9, 2008, and also retail for $39.99.

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon will be release on May 12, 2009!
This action RPG is said to improve on its predecessor in every way. This includes a MAG balancing system, dodge and hide abilities, and commanding two demons in combat. Weapon alchemy has been modified to create new unique swords for Raidou. Demon negotiation is back and there are twice as many demons to recruit. Kazuma Kaneko is handling the new character designs and SMT staple Shoji Meguro is handing the soundtrack.
A new threat to 1920's Tokyo brings Raidou Kuzunoha the 14th back into action. It begins with a woman asking the Narumi Detective Agency to find a man, but Raidou's boss is hesitant. Soon it is clear that there is more than meets the eye to the case as crooked gamblers, masked ninja, and strange insects lead Raidou to the mysterious King Abaddon.
At launch, a limited number of Devil Summoner 2 copies will include a rare Raiho plushie doll. Only a small number will be made and each will be numbered to ensure its rarity and value. Should there be a second print run of the game, the plushie will not be available for it. When Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner 2: Raidou Kuzunoha vs. King Abaddon launches on May 12, it will retail for $39.99. Every single copy of the initial launch will contain the Raiho collectible plushie.

Revelations: Persona for PSP
The rumored PSP version of the PlayStation's Revelations: Persona has officially come to life in the most recent issue of Famitsu. The game will be a port, not a remake, though it will be improved. The UI will be revamped, brand new anime-style cutscenes will be added, players will be able to select a difficulty level, and the soundtrack will be completely redone by original composer Shoji Meguro, who also happens to be the director of the PSP version of the game. Persona may look unfamiliar to RPGamers that have only played the PlayStation 2's more recent Persona 3 and Persona 4, as it uses a first-person perspective for dungeons and other areas, and has a somewhat different battle system that includes the "Contact" ability, used to negotiate with demons.
Persona PSP is scheduled for Japanese release on April 29, 2009 but this game have been announced for release in North America yet
