I prefer a real challenge, something actually themed rather than 'make anything you want'. For a contest, this way it's easier to judge a wall too.
Oh, one important question: what do we actually refer to as 'banner' here? I often call the top picture of a web page a banner (on AP it's the random wallpaper rotation thing), but others use the word to describe a picture in their forum signature (like my Frenzy Fanboys sig/banner)... Which one does this group refers to?

I HAVE a good idea^^
so I have a forum - its in german. and I'm trying to fill it wih tutorials for photoshop, but I don't like the page banner.
I don't know if this could be a contest here but I would be pleased to see it as one
Resolution should be 150x640 px
Must contain the url: www.wall-ani.foren-city.de
and some nice slogan XD

I would give the "winner" a scan his/her choice, but how do we find a winner??
Should I choose the one I most like or should all members vote?

well,i can 't answer this question exactly. i think i gave a lot of answers for that but
i think we made banners for our group,mabye we made a tropic (like :whats your fav anime ...)And then we made banners for that .after that we start a voting to cose a winner . and then i will post the winner banners .well , i hope that answers your question a litte.

I'm curently building up this site, so until now the only member is me
But it is about Photoshop Tutorials (german) and where to up/download wallpapers and scans.
It refers to all anime, but I didn't have enough time yet to list all I know... I bet that this wouldn't be all XD

I actually meant where the 'banner' as you call it is going to be placed. When I think of a 'banner', I think of something on top of a webpage, just like the one for our first contest. Though, many people mean a signature image under their forum posts with the word 'banner'. That was my actual question, but I guess it doesn't really matter as for every contest you can come up with your own rules and sizes, like Koharu did now.

I agree with the idea. Well i looking for every contest announce by this group!

then i think we can call it more freely than confusing.
