Nice ride that 2006 VW Golf GTI.
Have you bought it with a normal manual clutch or the DSG clutch?

Six speed manual...i refuse to let a computer decide when to shift gears for me ^_^

And it saves you a nice amount of money too. ^^
That DSG clutch isn't the cheapest option.
I would like to have DSG thingy if posible T.T i always wanted that!! it shifts cleanly & smoothly, provides great acceleration ( over traditional matic ) also it got manual select overides.
my van is on manual... it was great since its diesel, but still hours in trafic is cramping my legs
on the other story
my honda is tiptronic 5speeder matic... it shifts uber slow even in sports/ titronic mode... and i kinda hate it.
i suppose a DGS tranny box would be perfect solution for my case.
too bad with the kind of money to buy dsg equiped Golf GTi or audi A3 sportback i could buy 1 accord or 2 stream or civic with enough money to heavilymod it.
darn.. even the regular golf GTi is darn expensive already, same price as an base model RX8 here!!
if you got to choose RX8 and golf GTi because it would cost you the same, which will you choose?
thanks

Ah! It's nice to see someone else who likes the Saab Aero-X as well. ^^
JapanAnimeAh! It's nice to see someone else who likes the Saab Aero-X as well. ^^
HA! It's my favourite concept car ever!! Plus, I like the Saab even though my family doesn't like it...I also read in an article that it doesn't run on fossil fuel and something else instead, saying this car is the first environmentally friendly in the world...I'm not sure if it's actually environmentally friendly though...but I still like it ^_^
Saab has a bit of a strange name in the world of cars. It's not bad and they don't make bad looking or bad driving cars, but it's just... well, they attract a little different type of people. Anyway, the Aero-X is a nice concept indeed, but I don't really think it's really environmentally friendly. I mean, it's still a car ^_^.
Also, my favorite concept car ever would be the Peugeot 407 Silhouette, but I think y'all knew by my siggie :P.

Saabs are mostly driven by old people in old suites or by those 'look at me, I'm a business man' people, but still, I don't think you can't judge a car only by the people who drive it. ^^
Well the Aero-X is called environmental friendly because it uses bio-gas, which is fuel made from plants and every plant (as you probably know) absorbes CO2 from the air, so when this fuel is burned up it produces the same amount of CO2 that was absorbed by the plants which were used to produce this fuel.
And again this produced CO2 will be absorbed by the plants which, on their turn, will be used to make the bio-gas from and so on, that way it won't produce any extra unnecesary CO2.
When I saw the Aero-X for the first time I immidiately fell in love with it, but still my favorite concept car will be the Dodge Viper GTS-R from 2001.

My fav concept car would be the
peugeot RC :)
It would be awesome if they produce it, but they dont... sad...very sad...

The RC is a very nice concept too, Kuman. In fact, Peugeot got quite some pretty sweet concept cars like that (907, 908 RC). Really sad they won't make it to the streets. I really hoped the would base the 407 Coupé on the Silhouette, but they kinda messed up imo...
By the way, does anybody here like Cadilac? I think the look of the car is pretty nice but it used up too much gas...
O! I also like the new 2007 Saturn Sky...it looks HOT! ^_^ But Toyota Celica is still my favourite :D

Which Cadillac? I only like the 2007 Escalade and the 2006 BLS (which is actually a Saab 9-3 with a Cadillac body). But your right about the gas consumption, the Escalade consumes a sh*tload of gas and in Holland that means it absolutely eats your whole wallet.

Well you could expect that, every concept car with a wide body usely gets a bit messed up.
Just take a look at the Ford Mondeo Concept that was on the Paris Autosalon from last September and take a look on the images of the production version (doesn't look so hot anymore as it should be).
