The game is being made with very advanced graphics and stuff. It'd look best at the 360, PS3 and a really high performance PC.

It's quite obvious to me the PS2 gets bad graphics. To make sure the next-gen console-owners get next-gen content (better graphics, extended gameplay), they got to tune something down for older consoles. If they want to keep the storyline intact for PS2, they had no other choice than getting those graphics down a lot.

Ah well, see me care, as long as my PC can handle it, I'm fine.

Ooh hey, a little news: The Demo of Pro Street -which is expected mid Oct- will contain a Speed Challenge mode and a Grip event.

No data on the cars or other things yet..

Hold on a minute. It's true that my enthusiasm towards NfS Pro Street has grown a lot from the first announcement 'till now, but that's also because 4 months ago all we knew was that 'another NfS game' was being developed. Since that news was just as mind-blowing as saying "there will be a new FIFA game released next year", I indeed didn't look explicitly forward to it. I did say I was interested in how PS would turn out. Well, it turned out to be pretty f*cking cool, hence the change in the level of my enthusiasm.
And I can't recall actually saying everything in that last quote (o_o) emoticon

Ooh hey guys, have you checked out the Drift and Grip vids? Certain things worry me there.. the smoke effects in the drift vid seem to be overdone a bit. And the drift just seemed so easy to do. Almost like Carbon! >_<

Please check out the vid guys and tell what you think about em..

Oh and i think GA checked out the Grip vid in which he found his fav Cosworth! :D

I agree with the overdone looking smoke effects, it's quite worrying indeed since it's not only with drifting, but also with the other racing styles. On the other hand, if you use the bumper-cam, which I assume y'all do, you won't need to worry about smoke in your screen unless reversing. Drifting though is mostly viewed top down, so I hope you can still see where you're driving.

Drifting by the way looks pretty easy in the vid indeed, but drifting isn't that hard anyway, if you know the trick.
Besides, I think it's a good think they put the drifting as well as everything really, on a normal road/circuit. I noticed in Carbon drifting really sucks with the G25. Your car behaves like a wet towel and you only seem to get out of the drift by steering to extreme (maximum wheelturn). It's something you can easily do with a keyboard (just press the button once and it's done, but with a steering wheel you need way more time. Also the brakes in Carbon are ridiculous by the way. I have my driving license, so I know that when you need to brake before a corner and everything, but my god, when I brake at the moment I think I have to, I'll be standing still before the corner even starts. I know you have top-notch brakes installed in your car, but it's just ridiculous yo. You don't even have the proper time to get the heel-toe technique done, simply because you only need to tap the brakes once.

I agree with GoldenApe, why do I want the M3 from 2004 when I can pick the 2008 version? And I personally think they could've ridden with the M3 GTR and '98 Civic Hatchback.
