Well there is quite a bit of artwork in the ending sequences that they could put in there. Did they do the work for the storybook/picture book/whatever they are called special that were included in the DVDs? Those had some nice artwork in them too, but lots of nudity usually as well. =_= But this is exciting news!

Soo... to add some life to this thread, for this month I plan to get:
Zero no Tsukaima: Louise Portraits - Done in the same vein as the Yoko and Nia portrait collections, except with more anime style. All the new art work is already on AP, but I'll still get the book.
Yoshizuki Kumichi Illustrations: Calendar Film - Though I usually find this kind of style a bit boring, I'm getting it on the promise it will have a lot of art work since the artist hasn't released anything commercial before.
Oh, and I mean to get LO Illustrations - Takamichi Love Works, but at the moment it's not on order on Amazon so I'll be picking it up later :D

Gosh what's with all the artbooks filled with chicks? I'm too sexist to buy books like that, if it doesn't have a hot guy in it, it's not worth my $$. 
I need to get my address changed on my credit card and paypal so I can order more books!

Passionate Pilgrim - I'm seriously thinking of special ordering this. I have the first book in this 3 book series, and I've heard Pilgrim has the best artwork. I just love Sakura Kinoshita style, so I think I might cave and see if they can hunt down a copy for me. :D

Wait, then doesn't that make you just as bad as the guys who only buy girl filled art books? XD
And I live in fear of any art book that calls itself, "compact." That first one (Yume Hitoyo) you've got on your list is 7.1 x 5 x 0.4 inches. See this one? I bought that one. Also by Mag Garden. You couldn't get anymore compact. It's slightly taller than a soda can, and with 31 illustrations (and roughly 35 pages) it's easily the thinnest, tinniest art book I have. Sometimes, it gets eaten by other art books and I can't find it. Guess I was just expecting more from it.
Yeah, that's why I'm thinking it's not worth buying. :( It's really more of a pamphlet then a "book". But if it has new illustrations in it, it would totally be worth it. *__* Oh well, guess i can always wait and see if they surface on AP, lol.
And yes I totally agree I'm the opposite of the boys that buy only girl filled art books. Except the BIG difference would be that the artbooks I buy the guys are mostly clothed and there aren't any questionable panty shots. :P It's partly practical too I don't really ever wall girls, so why would I buy a book with only girl pictures in it if I would never possibly wall the images?

Do mention how Champion RED Ichigo is when you get it. I've seen people post posters from it so I wasn't sure if it was more black and white or all color. And I can never get a good idea of what's really in a magazine from a site that's trying to sell it to me XD
I keep forgetting to ask this, but what is everyone's opinion on the CLAMP in Cardland books? Before I saw some sample scans here on AP I was thinking of getting them, but from what I've seen I just don't find them all that impressive. :\

I will, but unfortunately, my desktop computer had a major malfunction, some sort of hardware failure which says to update the most recent hardware installation. There wasn't anything recent so I'm thinking either XP is the culprit or my motherboard is dying. It is over 4 years old so it's possible. Could be hard drives too, though they are not that old yet to be suspect. So I can't do any scanning or fixing. My laptop is just too small to handle that kind of work load.
Double post (like whoa). Has anyone seen any preorders for the October Newtype Romance? I know earlier nat said she thought it was going to come out 10/20/2008 which is fast approaching and I still can't find it anywhere. I want to actually get it this time darnit!

Most famously, he does a monthly illustration in Newtype---not sure if it still happens, too lazy to check :D Spans his art work from 1995 to 2008.
Kanokon Complete: This one is an animation guide book, with an illustration gallery at the front. 24 pages for the gallery, so it's probably going to be a lot of the magazine spreads without text. There's also a new poster made for the art book included.
Sekirei Official Fanbook "Allurement" - It's 96 pages, doesn't make mention of the illustration section, so it's probably not a good one. Instead, says DVD version of the story is covered, MBI confidential section (character guide); Voice actor/actress interviews.

Wahhh, Newtype Romance November has a cover pic up now. Is that Gundam 00? I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to just order that one thing from Amazon JP as I can't find it anywhere else.

Angel Text is awesome. I bought that in June, based solely on the few covers it had up in the gallery and the thinking that they had to have more than that to fill up a book. Such a good buy :D I like it when questionable purchases pay off ;D
If you're looking for something else to get with Newtype Romance, you might want to go for the latest PASH. Some of the posters are up: Vampire Knight, Casshern Sins, Gundam 00, Code Geass, Clannad, Junjou Romantica, Kuroshitsuji, and Hakshaku to Yousei (the only poster not in the gallery...)

I'm saving up for an order around christmas. I think I'll go ahead and nab the G00 calendar. I'm speaking as if I haven't bought things in ages when my last purchase was like a month ago, lol. I'm trying to limit my magazine buying, but I think I'll probably get the ones in november since the covers were so G00 XD
