What is with the recent trend of "coloring book" styles getting released?? I've seen a couple of them now. Has anyone gotten one? (They look like they have new art but at the same time look like mostly black and white art so not sure if they are worth it.

My Aurora Gem artbook is shipping out today or tomorrow... it's entered the shipping process anyway. The Range Murata one seems like it'll be released towards the end of June. Miyuu Art Works hasn't been pushed backed as far as we know :D
All 3 are up for preorder on amazon.jp if anyone besides Nat and me are interested XD

Well in this thread, we've run out of things for a bit! XD Sometimes, there just really aren't a lot of releases. A lot more books are coming out before the end of this month, ideally they'll actually be released as I've seen a lot of books lately get delayed ~_~

May was definitely slow, but the end of June picks up. There's a new Naruto Illustrations coming out, I haven't seen it listed, so I'm tentative to mention it as everything seems to get pushed back these days. And... Misakura Nankotsu Illustrations comes out in the middle of July (was pushed back from the end of June). There's still the Miyuu one, and Kannagi Portraits along with Aurora Gem, Itaru Hinoue Art Works, and Range Murata, so that still makes June a pretty full month.

Interesting news about the upcoming Range Murata Book, published in Gelatin Vol 2. It's going to be 240 pages total, 50 pages full color, 150 pages monochrome storyboards and sketches with the rest presumably interviews and miscellaneous info. That's a bit disappointing to me!
Boo~ only 50 pages of color?! Even if it's Range Murata it's a bit too much >_< at least collect all the doujin illustrations >_<

You'd be pretty set with Yoshizuki Kumichi if you bought 'Calendar Film.' Most of the circle stuff is black and white or CG (on CDs) collections. Of course, there's nothing wrong with black and white \o/

Nah, they don't. I haven't bought Calender Film yet, but that's on my amazon wish list which is getting enormously huge since i've been buying doujins for the last year >.>
