Artbook reviews
The book is called Tony's Graphic Artbook which has Shining Tears/Wind images plus a few from Sora-no-iro, Mizu-no-iro and some from magazines like Dengeki Hime. There are about half a dozen or so more that I can scan from this book and post. The cover shows the girl from After Sweet Kiss.
I haven't seen it online lately and no ^nat, that's not it. This is the cover and I haven't seen it for a while. And I'm going to order them Graph books as soon as I can :) Thanks ^nat :)
Ah silly me ... it's the file labeled as img466a.jpg in case you end up in the folder and not the file

Oh, okay thanks! I haven't encountered that cover at all from looking. I thought the only larger collections were the three Tony Art Works books and then the T2 graph collections ~_~ More to look for when I eventually get around to buying them \o/
Hope that was you btw... the two I linked are already sold just 5 hours later...

I did put an order in so I hope it was me :) Just waiting for the details now so time will tell. Thanks ^nat
Girls Girls Girls! 2 is a compilation volume that collects really awesome illustrations of lots of well-known artists. This one is my favorite compilation volume so far. :D Well worth the price tag of 2667yen (though you can't get it for list price unless you live in Japan). It's available at amazon.jp (where I got it) and probably lots of other places. This one definitely has my recommendation :D
I found all three volumes of Girls! Girls! Girls! to be excellent. I'm not sorry I bought any of them. I'm looking forward to the next volume so I have to keep an eye out for it :)
Yeah, I have volume 2 and 3. Are there any repeats in 1 and 3? I personally like 2 better than 3.
Actually there are 9 images that I found in volume 1 repeated in volume 3. Personally, I like vol 3 the best just because it has some new Tony stuff in it that I really like.
I bought three new (well not really 'new' but new to me) books at a store in Vancouver recently. Sweet Body, Velvet Skin, and Rio de Channel DX!
Sweet Body is pretty much what I thought it would be. Lots of nudity but it does hold a variety of subject matter from schoolgirls to demons to futuristic combat. 128 pages and not a lot of writing in it :)
Velvet Skin is not what I thought it'd be. It's pretty much nudity and porn from front cover to back cover tho the front cover is what I expected to see more of inside. There are some nice images in this 208pg book that aren't explicit but they are a minority.
Rio de Channel DX! is a good book. I've been curious about this game (anime yet?) for a while now. I've seen many pictures about Super Blackjack but I know little about it. The book is full color, 98pgs and has a poster of the front cover. No nudity which is fine by me.
Graph and Graph II are a lot smaller than I expected and only 34 pages in each. Both books are printed on textured paper. Despite the price, I am happy with the books 'cause I'm a fan :) No nudity.
Two other Tony books I bought, Ragnatic Fanbook and Macross Frontier have quite the quality of print in them. High gloss images along with the manga. Porn of course but not all of the images are and those are impressive.

Rio de Channel DX is a pachinko slot character, so not really a video game or anime :3 The second art book collection just came out for that too, but it has several repeat images and too many tiled images this time ~_~ I saw Graph IV at a Mandarake for $110 ;_;
And a REVIEW!
I highly recommend that no one buys Kazue Yamamoto's Art Book. It's cheap, so it has that appeal but every other page has an illustration (and it's only 96 pages) and it even skips a few. To top it off, the pictures are hardly more than lightly water-colored pencil sketches and there are at least 10 pages devoted to a fat round bird. Her CG work is brilliant, but that's not in this book :P

Just goes to show how much I know eh? LOL

Fat bird sounds nice to me, and I like watercolors style. I'll pick that one up~
Anybody have the 2nd Naruto book yet? It's still OOS at aj.

Hehe, suit yourself. The Naruto Illustration book is good, the only new images are the poster and the cover, but it's not like any of the other images were available outside of Shonen Jump and covered with text. *I've added pictures from it and the Kazue Yamamoto book in the visual purchase thread.*
Also, it includes stickers of all the illustrations in the book---little things like that let me know I'm not the target audience for it XD

All I can say is rotfl, that made me laugh so hard. I'd have to agree with nat on this one though. I would be ticked if I spent money on an artbook and it had a lot of pictures of birds in it. -_- If it was dogs (well drawn dogs) that would be a different story. ;D
